Origin/History: The Sweetwater Confederation, also known as the Black Dawn, have been around since the beginning of the Retribution War. They were an ally of the Guardians that worked in the shadows and were never known to the public. They quickly disappeared after the War and were unheard of until the L1 Trade Conflict in which they secretly aided the Nocturne Alliance. Unfortunately, the leader of the Black Dawn was killed in battle against the machines, along with several other important pilots. After this event, the Black Dawn simply used tactical raids in order to spare their prized pilots for the rest of the war. Afterwards, their newly promoted leader, Aries Cloud, made some drastic changes....

Today, They are currently launching several mobile suit development progams in hopes of building a strong enough military capable of withstanding the attacks of any intruder, large or small.
