Origin/History: In response to SODOM's sudden and unprecedented assault against Selene, the Intercolonial Unified Coalition was formed between Zarn, Mua, and Reah.

Originally a space outpost for the Earth Federation, the Reah Democratic Union was incorporated into the Shinter around AC 215. In AC 231 it the Union gained independence from the Shinter exactly as its sister space colonies did.

Reah, located in L4, boasts large tropical rainforested areas-a rare sight to see in space. As a result of this the climate in each of the colonies is temperate and the weather is often rainy. Because of Reah's uniqueness in this respect and consequential seniority among the other sides, it maintains a very prosperous and year-round tourism industry. Reah also lends certain portions of its land out for military training use, as there are few tropical rainforests left on the Earth itself.

Instead of having several major urban living centers, Reah's population is spread out into many separate villages throughout the forests. The Reah United Military Force maintained several large bases in each of the colonies. The excellent ground cover makes it nearly impossible to see these areas from the air without a detailed map, adding another dynamic to this organization's security.

As far as Zarn is concerned, it was another side originally under Shinter control. Nestled at L5, this cluster of colonies decidedly formed a united coalition, for after Shinter left there was no real central government in place other than in each separate province. In AC 231 the Zarn Coalition was formed, in order to unify all of Zarn's citizens.

Zarn is primarily a rural/agricultural production center, with industry mainly centered around farming exports. Recently it has been the host of the Intercolony Agricultural Festival, a newly introduced celebration of vegetables, fruits, and of the farming way of life. Millions of people have passed through to get their own taste of Zarn's excellent organic food resources. Some say that Zarn grows the best strawberries, but that fact is best left up to public opinion.

Situated deep in the middle of the L1 debris shoal zone, Mua is one of the most industrious and well-off colony organizations in existence. After the L1 Trade War was concluded, the Shinter and the Nocturne Alliance agreed to share L1's vast resources for the benefit of all. It was at this point that the original Mua Consortium had its beginnings.

The abundancy of the resources of L1 has nearly doubled since the end of the war, and both allied space organizations and earth-based ones have mutually benefitted from this change. If Zarn is the the agricultural capital of the space colonies, then Mua is certainly the capital of industry. Since L1 is a vital crossing point between the Moon, the colonies, and the Earth, it serves as a very important economic outpost.
