Origin/History: Its origins dating back to the early UC era, the Jovian Alliance is considered the second oldest organization still in existence. Known for its inconsistent government, throughout history the Alliance changed leaders a lot, more like a formalized anarchy rather than a dictatorship or democracy.

The Jovian Alliance does not have many mass-produced mobile suits, but owns multitudes of construction and work equipment. Most pilots instead have personalized mobile weapons, and nearly every citizen has advanced piloting skills. It can be said that some of the best pilots come from Jupiter; in many ways this saying is not an exaggeration.

Never seeing the need of formal military alliances, the Jovian Alliance becomes diplomatic allies with any organization that buys their H3 fuel. Because of this, they avoid being pulled indirectly into wars, and are somewhat immune to the effect witnessed after alliances were formed during World War I.
