Character Story:
"People often ask me how I could fall in love with, marry, and even have children with what they refer to as a 'freak of nature.' Simple; to me, he isn't a freak. It's that ugly misnomer he's been plagued with his entire life that has caused him so much pain and anguish. Hell, his entire family died for it. Through all of this, he has still kept a bright outlook on life, and I love him for it. There is nothing in this world that will ever change that fact."

EARLY YEARS
Aimee Suzuka Asahi was born in Miami, Florida on Christmas Day of AC 207. Her early childhood was a very happy one, free of any major stress and strife. Her mother, Angela, was a prominent computer technician known throughout the city that advocated new technological advancements to better humankind. Her father, Setsujin, was a very well-endowed Japanese businessman who came to America to bring his innovations stateside. By the time Aimee was born, the Asahis already had another child-Aimee's older sister Meryll. However, the happiness of her life would not hold permanent, as violence would rear its ugly head for her at just eight years of age.

On a somewhat humid mid-summer night, Setsujin arrived at home close to midnight after closing a big business deal. Little did he know that two hitmen would be waiting for him inside of his kitchen. Aimee, Meryll, and their mother were awakened by the sound of screams and eventually several gunshots-signaling Setsujin's brutal death. Aimee never found out who those hitmen were and why they killed her father, and to this day she has been unable to find a shred of viable evidence.

After this terrible event, the three girls moved to Ft. Lauderdale to start a new life. Times were tough in the beginning, but Angela managed to secure a new job at the special projects department of HALO Industries. Her outstanding service to HALO and innovative thinking had a large impact on Aimee's life specifically later on when she applied for the NA's Intel Agency.

Aimee and her sister both grew to be very voluptuous young women, and when they reached adulthood, both moved out on their own. Meryll went on to college, and Aimee focused on working and saving up money. It was at this point that Aimee became romantically involved with Brian Oshiro, a relationship that would end with violence.

At first, the couple seemed to be in love. But one day, Aimee began noticing that Brian started developing some odd habits-talking to himself, being extremely paranoid. These habits eventually turned to compulsions, and led to outbursts of rage often directed at other people. He started staying out late and drinking, and eventually began yelling at Aimee for no reason. Soon this yelling turned into hitting, as Aimee found herself being battered by the man she thought was the love of her life. But she could not just sit there and be beaten. Escaping from Brian's grasp, she enlisted in the Nocturne Alliance military; it was an organization that could offer her protection from her abusive ex-boyfriend, and it was a way that she could make a new life for herself filled with opportunities.

Two years passed and she became an experienced fighter and shooter. She quickly developed the senses and agility of a fox and the accuracy of a sniper. She had already made a name for herself in the intelligence field, and was considered a valuable operative to the Nocturne Alliance. It was then that she was given the position of Assistant Director, and was awarded command of the Lorelei.

THE L1 TRADE WAR
Aimee had been serving a good amount of time as Assistant Intelligence Director and was well liked by both superiors and coworkers. When the side four disaster occurred, she was given the assignment to observe the condition of Midnight Faction commander Gabriel Fox. Upon entering the hospital room, she seemed to form an immediate crush on him. Even though he was in a coma, she was attracted and soon spent a couple hours of every day by his bedside. And when he awoke, she found herself blushing and somewhat shy.

Months later, she and Gabriel found themselves in love, and they both became entwined in a very intimate and close relationship. Aimee was so happy that she had finally found her true companion in life, as well as her protective guardian. However several events would test the mettle and strength of both of them. Brian Oshiro, Aimee's ex, would return to cause further pain in her life when he led the assault on NA base Alameda. He kidnapped Aimee in the process, severely beating her and using her as leverage in a duel between him and Gabriel. However, Gabriel would win that battle, killing Oshiro and saving Aimee from a terrible fate.

Aimee would later see the effects of her soon-to-be husband's Newtype powers on both the world around him and himself.

THE APOCALYPSE WAR
Commanding the Lorelei during the Megiddo conflict, she would watch her fiancee become legendary as he helped to save the human race from utter annihilation not just by physical intervention, but by intellectual negotiation with Enoch. She was relieved to find that Gabriel had survived the final battle and retired from active duty as soon as the war was over. She and Gabriel got married as planned, and Aimee found out that she had become pregnant not with one child, but two.

PRESENT ENDEAVORS
Currently Aimee has resumed her commission in the Nocturne Alliance military, in order to aid her husband's return to Red Cell and the Midnight Faction. She enjoys spending her free time taking care of her two children, and talking with her slightly older sister Meryll (who lives in Hope City). She recently has become interested in firearms a lot more, and can be seen frequenting local shooting ranges with her husband. She is passionate, moderate in political views, and always knows how to strike up interesting conversation with whoever she meets. Her love for Gabriel is considered to be of utmost importance in her life, and she cares for the man more than anyone else on the planet. This is often exemplified by the way she flirts with him, and by how much she can be seen clinging on to the man's arm.
