Character Story: Raised on Earth, Jin ended up graduating several years early from highschool, Jin took the liberty of getting an AA degree before joining the Earth Federation Forces. With the Associate's under his belt at the age 17, he was able to take accelerated piloting classes, finishing his Class A, B, and E pilot's license for all mass produced ground-type mobile suits that the Nocturne Alliance had been using at the time.(Index B)

He was enlisted into the 15th Mobile Suit Team. They were stationed around the semi-active volcanos near, and around Japan, mostly used for tactical recon training in rough terrain, and at the time, since not deployed, were in the process of training. It just so happens that Jin met a female officer in the 15th Mobile Suit Team that really changed his outlook on life. They began dating in secret and eventually fell in love. Since it was not allowed on the base, Jin didn't let anyone know about their affair. And only a year into their intimate relationship, they were found out. They would have escaped, and started a new life together, had it not been for the illegal factors involved with running away from duty.

Being outstanding pilots, and having never been charged, the counsil was forgiving, but it seemed that Jin would be seperated from her and enlisted into the Alliance: Japan Transfer Program. Soon enough, the base deployed the trasfer pilots to the Hope City front on the eastern American Coast. Upon arrival, the Trasport plane with all of the Mobile Suits in it was attacked. Jin, a passenger on that plane quickly suited up, and in a last ditch effort, the transport staff was able to equip emergency parachutes onto most of the suits. As the plane crashed down, Jin, and a few other pilots managed to escape. The whole area was being sprinkled with AA fire, mortars(index 1) and anti-air bombs to ensure the death of the Osiris reenforcements. During all this Jin was trying his best to avoid it, but was cut off by the bombings. As he landed on the ground, he got hit by a mortar in the left thigh, but the shell hit the MS's hand first, disabling it. Not wanting to die in vain, he did some quick thinking,...an abandoned building wasn't too far away, so Jin hit the eject switch and the cockpit door bursted off, along with all of his seat fastenings. Jin managed to escape to the building, holding off until being rescued by the Nocturne Alliance. His mobile suit, although recovered, sustained heavy damage from the bombings.
