INTERCOLONY LAWS, LAW ENFORCEMENT DATA

Because of the spread of humanity beyond just the Earth’s orbiting colonies, it has been increasingly hard to control crime and to prosecute perpetrators of illegal acts. As a result, the UCIS Law Enforcement division of United Colony Information Systems was created. Housed within this unique branch lay both a centralized bounty hunter task force, as well as a freelancer information network (known as Bounty Update). Jurisdiction over criminal prosecution is determined by the individual or organization that sanctioned the bounty; therefore providing a remedy for the problem of enforcing laws in the farther frontier colonies in such places as the Jovian moons or Mars.

In order to aid in keeping an effective unilateral law code as a mainstay for the defense of the Earth Sphere against criminal acts, a basic listing of different types of crimes was developed. Below an abbreviated section on these documents can be found, listing only the most important facts and policies.
